What is LOVE?

Sorry for the delay of this entry, i believe ive keep some of you guys waiting. I’m just lazy but im not neglecting my blog. haha

I have to warn you guys that this gonna be a super-duper-uber long entry (cuz lao niang is very lo-so,ha.) so read it if you’re very ‘eng’ (free in hokkien). Oh well, back to the topic..

What inspires me to write this post is that someone asked me ‘how do you define love?’ and i was stucked. I think it’s really a tough qn as there’s so many definitions of love yet there’s no definite one. Why did i say that? You will know if you continue reading.. Actually, love shouldnt be a question cuz there’s no definite answer. I can’t describe what is love because it’s just like asking me what is the taste of durian, I cant tell you unless you have the taste of it. It can be sweet, it can be bitter. It can be nice to some ppl but not all ppl like it. Get the idea?

What is love? Can it be seen or felt? Does love really exist? Love can be just a word for those who nvr experience it and it can be full of meanings for those who know, those who feel, those who fall into it, those who witness and those who understand.

Love is everything, Love is nothing.

Love is simple, Love is complicated.

Love is joy, Love is pain.

Love is beautiful, Love is horrible.

Love is magical, Love is terrible.

Love brings laughters, Love brings tears.

Love is ever-lasting, Love is short.

Love is strong, Love is fragile.

Love is fate, Love is unpredictable.

Love is hope, Love is disappointment.

Love is right, Love is wrong.

Love is hate; if there’s no love, there wont be hate.

Love is more of an answer than a question for love can be the answers to all unresolved questions.
Some learn  from it depending how much is earned or lost based on individual experiences, some explore it deeply while others find nothing but emptiness.

According to the bible… (P.S. Im not a christian but i came across this and i think Love should be this way)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. - 1 Corinthians 13:5- 8a

 

 

I feel that the ugliness and the sins of human beings may have blinded the kindness and simplicity of Love should be.

To me, love is amazing, its so amazing that it makes ppl go crazy for it or do crazy things because of it.

Ppl may nt know what love is yet everybody needs it and can’t live without it.

Without love, we wont be in this world.

Love starts out small; small to be noticed,

but in the end, it conqueres all.

Love may beings nowhere but grows into something great n beautiful.

Love is never sure but it trusts with faith.

Love may stumble and fall but never fails with its trust.

Love is sweet that some may wish to destroy through lies and deceits.

Love is patient that comes with joy in the first ray of light in the morning & it endures through the pain & sorrows of the night.

Love is accepting, acknowledging and appreciation; for who they really are and not for what you want them to be.

Love is noble that you risk your own happiness for the one without expecting anything in return,

but Love is worthwhile as it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Love is not about the pain but the gain. (think abt this)

Love is the bond between two souls that link together, two hearts that beat as one.

Love is simple. Love is Life, so dont miss it & live it to the fullest.

 

 

Sometimes ppl may mistaken love and hurt the other..

If you think you love someone becuz he/she is really gorgeous or good looking,

then it’s not love.. it’s ‘Obsession‘.

 

If you think you love someone becuz others makes you think that you shouldn’t leave him/her becuz the other party is nice to you,

then it’s not love, its ‘Compromise’, it’s ‘Responsibility’.

  

If you love someone becuz you this he/she is really hot and you want them more (maybe sex),

then it’s not love.. it’s ‘Lust‘.

 

If you love someone becuz you have been kissed by him/her,

then it’s not love, it’s ‘Inferiority Complex‘.

 

If you love someone becuz you afraid you will hurt his/her feelings by leaving,

then it’s not love, it’s ‘Sympathy‘, it’s ‘Charity‘.

 

If you love someone just because you need a companion to share,

then it’s not love, it’s ‘Friendship‘.

 

BUT…

 

If you feel the pain of the other party more than him/her,

& If you wish that the one to be in pain is you than him/her,

that’s LOVE.

 

If you still cares even if he/she has made you tear, or if you still long for him/her when you’re ignored,

that’s LOVE.

 

If you get attracted to other ppl yet stay with him/her without any regrets,

that’s LOVE.

 

If he/she beings to love another yet you still smile and say ‘im happy for you’,

If you let him/her go knowing that’s the best for him/her or he/she has to go,

that’s LOVE.

my life lessons…

I always wonder why is my life full of unhappiness, heartaches and ‘shit’. Yes, i refer all bad things as shit in short. but also thanks to all these shit, i learn my way through this life.

With regrets from the past; i learn to cherish the present.

With sorrows i feel, i learn to be happy with just lil things.

With unfairness that i witnessed, i learn to be contented.

With the bad times i have gone through, i learn to enjoy the good times.

With all the challanges i have faced, i learn to overcome them.

With the struggles i cant avoid, i learn to accept them.

In this complicated world, i learn to appreciate the simplicity.

With fears, i learn to conquere.

With angers, i learn to control my temper.

I learn from my mistakes and avoid making the same.

Life is too short, grudges and unhappiness will be waste of time.

Laugh when i can, apologize when i should, and time to let go of things i cant change.

Take chances, give everything and have no more regrets.

Always forgive but never forget.

Treasure the love ones i got and the memories i had.

Changes and things will still go wrong, but most imptly,

life still goes on…

Someone once told me this, “life is not measured by the amount of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away”.

Life isnt about the years you that you are living, but the moments that made your life worthwhile.

The joy of life like this…

Nothing last forever

Everything will eventually end, be it good or bad. The only difference between the two is you will hope for one more than the other…

Its true that I still wish everything can ends off with good endings, i mean who dont, right? But then again, now that i have grown up, experiencing things that can be really hurtful, its not fairytale, but life, my life.

It can be full of shit, seriously. For those who really know me, my life isnt like any princess nor am i born with golden spoon but life still goes on.

At the very least, im glad there are gifts in my life too: Im still living HEALTHILY, im still living under a SHELTER, no worries for WATER n FOOD, lovely FRIENDS, and most imptly, my MUM, BROTHER n lil SIS.

As for loveship, im tired, im shattered. Sometimes its even tough to breathe cuz breathing can be so painful too. I hate the girl when i should be hating you but i couldnt bring myself to hate you. Sometimes i wish i could be cool enough to move on, not to care anymore but sometimes I cant. I feel so vulnerable when im alone, when i have to face my innerself, when i have to take off my ‘smiling mask’, how i wish you’re here once again singing ur fav ‘You’re Not Alone’ to me. No, thats not gonna happen so i have to console myself again. Tears drop.

Although you and i have parted, it must be our destinies didnt meet. Since you’re a nice guy, at least to me, you are. No matter who you’re with now, i hope you’re happy, maybe you were too good for me. I hope a love that’s worthy for you will find you so you will always be happy. I mentioned this before, i love your smile cuz its beautiful. I may be crying becuz i miss you but i hope you’ll always smile.

Say HELLO to my blogggggg!!!

Recently, I’ve been reading many blogs which inspires me to start one too. Hopefully, my laziness wont fail me again cuz there’s many thoughts n stuffs i wanna share. (maybe no one will be reading.. but who cares. )
